About us
Hi, my name is Rachel. After seeing my brother who has ADHD struggle to develop lasting social connections with other kids his age, I was inspired to start a program to provide social opportunities for kids like him. Starting Buddies Unite has enabled kids experiencing similar issues to foster new friendships with others like them.
Buddies Unite was founded with an underlying goal of providing children with special needs a community to feel included, accepted, and loved.
Making new friends and fostering social connections both have the power to boost a child’s social development and growth.
